Welcome to
planDisney, Lorena. Thank you for stopping by to share this question with us. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of a family member and offer you our sincere condolences.
Unfortunately, Disneyland Resort theme park tickets, including special event tickets, like those for
Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite, are nonrefundable. However, you can gift the tickets to someone else who may attend in your place. To do this, you can forward the email confirmation with your ticket to the person who will use it. You can also have them add the ticket to their
Disneyland app. To do this, have them open the app and tap the "☰" to open the menu. Next, tap the "My Tickets & Passes" tile, followed by the "+" in the upper right corner. Tap "Link Tickets & Passes" and the ticket can be added on the next screen by manually entering the ticket ID number or using the "Camera" feature to scan the barcode.
There's no need to worry about the name listed on the ticket as a Cast Member will take a picture of the person using the ticket upon entry which will serve as the ticket holder's identification throughout the use of the ticket.
Lorena, I hope this is helpful. Again, I'm so sorry that you are going through this. When you are ready, the magic will be here waiting for you. Please come back to visit us with any other questions that we can help with.
Sending a warm hug,
Michelle
