Hello and welcome (back) to planDisney, Barbara. We're so glad you came back to share this question with us. It sounds like you're getting closer and closer to your visit to the
Disneyland Resort and we're here to help.
The Disneyland app is one of my park essentials and something I use during each park visit. While I'm not sure if you can both log into the same account from the app on different phones, it might be best if each person downloads the Disneyland app (upon arrival) and logs into their own separate MyDisney account. You can easily link the tickets from one account to the other so both phones have access to all tickets. To do this, open the app and tap the "☰" to open the menu and then tap the "My Tickets & Passes" tile. Next, tap the "+" in the upper right corner, followed by "Link Tickets & Passes." From here you can manually type in each ticket ID number or use the "Camera" feature to scan each ticket's barcode.
It sounds like you'll be visiting during the
spooky season which is one of my favorite times of the year to visit. There's nothing quite like seeing the giant Mickey pumpkin greet you as soon as you walk into
Disneyland Park. You will also be able to see Jack Skellington and pals at
Haunted Mansion Holiday. This spooktacular attraction will reopen tomorrow and the only way to access it is via the
virtual queue in the Disneyland app. This is another reason to have each person logged into their own MyDisney account in the app - increased odds for joining the virtual queue (just make sure all of your tickets are linked).
Well, Barbara, I hope the information I've shared is helpful as you are getting ready for your visit. Here's wishing you a ghoulishly good time at the Happiest Place on Earth! Let the countdown to the magic begin.
Michelle
