Hey there, Nicole!
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney today. I'm happy to answer planning questions on any topic, but I especially love talking about Disney dining. There are so many fantastic menus and venues to choose from across the parks and resorts you're sure to find something to please any palate. So pull up a chair and let's dig in!
In my experience, Cast Members are usually more than happy to split the bill at
Table Service restaurants. In fact, a few of my panelist friends and I enjoyed a group dinner at
Tiffins Restaurant at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park just last month and our server was able to easily provide an individual bill for each guest at our table. He was also able to apply any applicable Annual Passholder or Disney Vacation Club discounts to our individual bills as well. As long as you let your server know, you should have no problem splitting your check between your two parties and applying a
Disney Gift Card to each transaction, as long as the dining location accepts Disney Gift Cards. Most do, but it never hurts to double-check, especially when dining at Disney Springs or a nearby "good neighbor" hotel.
Now that you have the details squared away, you'll want to be sure you make
advance dining reservations beginning 60 days prior to your arrival. If you are a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel guest, you'll be able to make reservations for your length of stay, up to 10 days, at the 60-day mark. Based on your arrival date your booking window opens in just a few more days, so start thinking about where you'd most like to dine.
Liberty Tree Tavern is a great choice for a hearty meal at Magic Kingdom Park, and my family always enjoys dinner at
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen, too. We also love
Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney's Yacht Club Resort and
Trattoria al Forno just across Crescent Lake on Disney's BoardWalk for a delicious breakfast at a great value. I'd be happy to offer more suggestions if you need help finalizing your plans. Feel free to
write me directly and let me know.
I hope this was helpful Nicole. If we can answer any additional planning questions come right on back to planDisney. We're always glad to help!
Magic and memories,
Amy
