Jessica, it sounds like you're hoping to
reuse some of your older MagicBands from previous vacations. Hakuna Matata! This should be no problem at all, as long as the bands have never been assigned to another Guest previously. Once a MagicBand or
MagicBand+ has been assigned to a Guest, it cannot be transferred or reassigned to another individual. Could you possibly have created two profiles in
My Disney Experience on accident? If this is the case, you can reach out to the friendly Cast Members at the Help Desk via the chat functionality on the Walt Disney World Resort website. They can assist with "merging" the two accounts so that your old bands will be usable during your next trip!
Guests experiencing MagicBand linking issues are always welcome to dial into the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ phone line for assistance, Jessica. However, if it turns out the bands you have were previously linked to another person, you'll need to pick out a new MagicBand or MagicBand+ during your upcoming stay. Luckily, there are plenty of wonderful shops that stock these handy bands, and linking new MagicBands is usually a quick and straightforward process! If you do opt for a new MagicBand+, I recommend fully charging it overnight before its first use. This will ensure that its functionality will be maximized, allowing you enchanting experiences within the theme parks!
