We have two different resort stays planned at before and after a 4 night Disney Cruise-not a pckage. If I buy a refillable mug during our pre-cruise stay, will I still be able to use it during our post Cruise stay five days later and at a different resort

Welcome aboard planDisney, Cristen, and thanks for stopping by. Oh, boy! You have quite a magical vacation planned, starting in just a few days. You'll begin at Walt Disney World Resort, hop aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship, and end the fun back at a different resort hotel. You won't want to go home! Let's talk about split resort stays and how Disney Rapid Fill Refillable Mugs will work during your visit.

Walt Disney World Resort is dedicated to environmental sustainability, and those refillable mugs were one of the first ways I remember seeing their commitment in action. I still have a mug from my 1999 Disney's Port Orleans Resort stay. Talk about "reusing!"

I'm happy to let you know that your mug will allow free refills for up to 14 days at any Disney Resort Hotel. I'm not sure how long your separate stays on dry land are, but I'm wishing on a star that your mug will work for your entire visit. After the initial purchase, you can fill it with soft drinks, coffee, or tea. It's like magic! Take it home for a memorable souvenir, and who knows? You might have it 25 years later, like me!

My pal Shannon offers this tip for your cruise: Use your refillable mug to make a soda float by mixing your favorite soft drink with soft-serve ice cream. I can't wait to try that tip myself!

If you're spending time at Magic Kingdom Park, my husband and I have a new favorite Quick Service location you might like to try. We appreciate some of the healthy options at Columbia Harbour House. My favorite is the Grilled Salmon, and my husband recently enjoyed the New England Shrimp Boil. My tip is to take your food upstairs where you can grab a table with a view overlooking Frontierland.

Cristen, I'm wishing you a bon voyage on land and by sea! Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
