Hi Pheobe!
Welcome to
planDisney. We are a group of Disney Guests, just like you, who are Disney trip planning experts here to share our tips, tricks, and advice for planning the perfect Disney vacation!
Pheobe, regular, publicly available tickets to the
Disneyland Resort in California cannot be used at the
Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. They are different ticketing systems and not interchangeable. Since you mention they are comp tickets and you were given the option to select either resort, I recommend you
call to speak with a Cast Member at ticketing for assistance with this situation. There are many different ticket types out there that are not available to the general public, and they each have their own rules and policies. A Cast Member would be able to look at your specific account information and offer advice.
Getting through on the phone can be challenging right now. I recommend selecting a morning when you have the time to wait on hold. Call right when the phone lines open at 7 AM PST. I like to use my cell phone, and I put it on speaker so I can listen to the Disney hold music while I get other things accomplished.
Whichever coast you end up visiting, feel free to stop back here to planDisney with your trip planning questions. We love talking Disney and are here to help!
