About Me
By day, I am a full-time wife and mom to four children. By night, I am a part-time nurse on a busy labor and delivery unit, where we help make miracles happen! I have made my home in Northwest Indiana for most of the last twenty-five years, though you can still hear a touch of my New York accent. When not planning our next adventure with Disney Vacation Club or helping a friend plan their own Disney vacation, you can find me cheering for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, driving around town for marching band, cross country and gymnastics practices, training for my next runDisney event, and spending time with family and friends.
About My Family
“Far-off places, sword fights, magic spells, a prince in disguise…,” Belle’s favorite book in “Beauty and the Beast” perfectly describes my family. My prince was cleverly disguised as a computer nerd when we first met at a Notre Dame football game. We married in 2002 and together we referee lightsaber fights between our three older sons and younger daughter, who joins the battle in her tiara. We enjoy traveling to visit far-off family and landmarks throughout the country, but of course, our favorite destination is Walt Disney World. We are a true Disney-loving family; someone is always watching a Disney movie, dressing up as a Jedi or yodeling cowgirl, or making homemade Dole Whip and Mickey shaped pancakes!
About My Disney Experience
I grew up as a Disney fan, with my first visit to Walt Disney World as a baby in 1978. I was lucky enough to experience the magic of Disney vacations as a child with my family, as a teen with Disney’s “Magic Music Days” Program, and on a mother-daughter trip to celebrate my college graduation. As an adult, I have experienced Walt Disney World through various stages of life and with children of all ages. Purchasing Disney Vacation Club was one of the best gifts we could have given our family. It has allowed our family to vacation more frequently with its great value, and added extra enjoyment with the spaciousness and amenities of the Disney Vacation Club Villas. Along the way we have made some magical family memories. First roller coaster rides and haircuts, birthday celebrations, hugs from our favorite characters, completing runDisney events, watching my son marching down Main Street, U.S.A. with his high school band, releasing sea turtles at Vero Beach, and learning to surf in Hawaii; these moments will remain in my heart long after my kids are grown. Their childhoods may be fleeting, but Disney Vacation Club Membership has given them a world of magic spells, wonder and adventure that we plan to enjoy for years to come!
