Hi Amy,
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question! You are just about a month out from your visit - you must have your countdown calendar up and running! Only magic and pixie dust from here on out.
I love to see you have your Disneyland
dining reservation ducks in a row already! With reservations available up to 60 days in advance, I always recommend booking them early, especially if you have some must-eat treats on your list. The
Disneyland App is a great tool for planning and organizing your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. That being said, sometimes you run into a limitation or two, which is the case here with dining reservations. These will only show up in "My Day" or "Future Plans" for the person who made the reservation itself. My friends and I usually share the reservation as an event from our smartphone calendars to ensure we all get an alert when it's time to head to the restaurant. I know it's an extra step, but I promise it won't take away from the magic in your day!
If you're a Disney foodie, you will love to hear that you are arriving during the
California Adventure Food & Wine Festival!
Festival marketplace kiosks are sprinkled throughout the park, offering limited-time small plates with fresh, local ingredients, craft beers and wines, and nonalcoholic sips - all with a California twist! The best way to experience this festival, in my opinion, is with a
Sip and Savor Pass, which you can use all on your own or share with friends - and it makes a great commemorative keepsake! You can mix and match up to 8 different plates and non-alcoholic beverages, and the best part is the Disney Parks Blog has just dropped the
Food & Wine Festival Foodie Guide. Get a complete sneak peek of all the offerings so you can earmark some must-try favorites. I've got my eye on the Lemon Pepper Wings and SNICKERS Mickey Macaron! There are even some additional bookable experiences, including beverage seminars, mixology classes, and even a
Dinner and Scotch Event hosted at Hearthstone Lounge at the Grand Californian. I recommend taking a look through all the offerings - there are some unique opportunities only available at this time of year!
Amy, I sure hope this information is helpful as you plan your visit. I know you and your friends are in for some magical memory-making. If you have any additional questions, you know where to find us here at
planDisney!
Cheers!
Tara
