David from TX Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have been trying to make reservations for March and April of 2026.The calendars are greyed out - how far in advance can I make the reservations? FYI - a Google search says that reservations can be made 12 - 15 months in advance.

Hi David, and welcome to planDisney.

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! There is nothing more exciting than planning a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth! I am smiling from Mickey ear to Mickey ear to help you get ready to plan for the magic. With a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo, here we goooooooooo!

David, I double-checked this morning, and as of now, reservation dates for 2026 have not been released yet. So, I put on my Great Mouse Detective ears and did a little investigation. Historically, booking schedules for the following year have been released between February and June. While it's too early to start making reservations now, the good news is that we can expect an announcement regarding booking availability very soon. I suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information on release dates.

Although it's too early to book for 2026 just yet, you can still get excited about all the new experiences coming to Walt Disney World Resort that you'll enjoy on your magical vacation! Opening later this year in EPCOT will be the reopening of Test Track! Disney's Hollywood Studios will open two new shows, "Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After"  and  "The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure." Animal Kingdom will see the opening of "Zootopia: Better Zoogether!"  Also, there will be a brand new nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom Park, "Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away!" I am literally counting down the days for this one! There is so much to look forward to!

I wish I had a magic wand to help you book that trip right now (I would be booking my 2026 along with you), but don't worry; those release dates will happen soon.

With a big vacation coming up, feel free to reach out to planDisney every step of the way. We are just a few clicks away on your computer, and we'll be here to help you get all your Donald Ducks in a row for the best 2026 vacation EVER!

    Happy planning!
