Season's Greetings, Amanda! Welcome to planDisney!
And welcome to California! I hope that you and your family are having a wonderful time out here on the West Coast!
I apologize if we were unable to address your question before your visit happened. Nevertheless, I hope that you can use the information below.
I'm sorry that you weren't able to find any park reservations for this weekend. It just so happens that the Disneyland Candlelight Processional is happening on December 7 and 8, 2024, so it's a popular time for Guests to visit the Parks. I heard through social media that the celebrity narrator on December 7 was Kathryn Hahn!
You are definitely able to purchase
Theme Park Tickets at the Ticket Booth in person. However, you'd still be subject to park reservation availability. The Cast Members will be able to tell you if there are any reservations available when you purchase your ticket. Our usual recommendation is to keep checking back frequently to see if any reservations have opened up because Guests are always changing their plans and canceling their bookings. At the time of this writing, there are open reservations through next week, so I hope your visit extends for a few more days. If the Park you want isn't available, you can always purchase a
Park Hopper Ticket and hop over after 11 AM.
On days you aren't visiting the Parks, there's still plenty to see in the
Downtown Disney District and don't forget to visit the Resort Hotels because festive decorations can be found throughout the entire Resort! In fact, people will go out of their way to visit the
Grand Californian Great Hall Cart for the yummy Holiday treats on sale!
Amanda, I wish you and your family a truly magical and festive
Holiday visit to the Disneyland Resort! Please write again anytime you have more questions because we'd be happy to help!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
