Hey there Lauren, thanks for stopping by planDisney!
It looks like your trip is right around the corner, the countdown is on!
Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance through the
Disneyland app or the Disneyland site. I'm sorry you're having trouble securing your reservations, I recommend closing out of the app or restarting your computer if you're having technical difficulties!
I prefer to use the Disneyland app while booking my reservations, you can open up the app and navigate to the three horizontal bar line in the bottom right-hand corner and tap "Reserve Dining" under "My Visit." From there, you'll be able to select your party size as well as a date range to view dining availability for your trip. If you do not see your desired restaurant, I encourage you to keep checking back all the way up to your arrival since plans change for Guests all the time.
If you're unable to make a dining reservation prior to your trip, you also could explore
mobile dine walk-up availability. You can check availability on the Disneyland app or by scanning a QR code located near the restaurant entrance. You can use the app to add your party to the walk-up list if there is availability, and you'll be notified once your table is ready. It's a great alternative in case you are not able to secure a dining reservation prior to your trip!
My family also has several quick service dining locations that we enjoy every trip, there are so many great options throughout both theme parks as well as the Downtown Disney District. If you do not have a dining reservation it could be a great option, and also allows you more time to enjoy attractions, entertainment, and shopping! Our favorite
quick service locations include Pym Test Kitchen in Disney California Adventure Park and Bengal Barbecue in Disneyland Park.
I hope this information is helpful for you, Lauren! I'm wishing you and your family a magical trip,
please let us know if there are any other questions we can help with.
Have a magical day!
Melissa
