Hey there Elijah! Thanks for bringing another great question back to planDisney.
Table service dining locations throughout the Disneyland Resort do allow reservations for a party of 6. I just attempted to make a
dining reservation during mid-April, and I did have several options available for me to book, which is great news!
For the most availability for dining reservations, I recommend looking over a period of several days if you're visiting for multiple days, as well as being open to morning, afternoon, and evening options. If you're really set on a certain restaurant that is very popular such as
Blue Bayou Restaurant in Disneyland Park or
Lamplight Lounge in Disney California Adventure Park, I recommend securing your dining reservation 60 days in advance when dining reservations become available for your dates. Even if something is not available at the time you're trying to book, do not give up hope! Plans change for Guests all the time, so I recommend to keep checking back all the way up to your trip.
If for some reason you're still having issues securing a dining reservation for your party of 6, there are so many wonderful
quick service dining locations throughout both parks and the Downtown Disney District. Everyone in your party can order what they'd like, or even order from different locations, but still can enjoy the meal together. It also doesn't tie you to a specific time to dine, which builds some flexibility into your day! Some of our favorite quick service locations that we dine at frequently include
Bengal Barbecue and
Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe in Disneyland Park, as well as
Pym Test Kitchen and
Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill in California Adventure.
Elijah, I hope these tips are helpful for you and you're able to book that dining reservation! If you think of any other questions,
please come back and ask, we're here to help!
Have a magical day,
Melissa
