Lightning Lane passes is a great way to maximize your time in the park. You’ll be racing around the parks faster than Lightning McQueen when you purchase a Lightning Lane pass.
There could be a couple of reasons why your tickets say they are not eligible for Lightning Lane passes. Since you have already purchased your park tickets, you may need to upgrade them. You can
upgrade your ticket online or through the
Disneyland mobile app. On the app, click the three bars at the bottom right of the screen. Select “My Tickets & Passes” to see the tickets you purchased. An option should appear to modify or upgrade the tickets. You will only be able to do this if you are the purchaser of the tickets, not if they are linked to your account.
If you are trying to purchase the
Lightning Lane Premier Pass, those are available for purchase up to 7 days prior to your park reservation date. These are subject to very limited quantities, so set your alarm for 7:00 a.m. Pacific Time to purchase these passes. What’s wonderful about the Lightning Lane Premier Pass is that it is good for both parks and does not require you to select a return time. I highly recommend upgrading to Park Hopper tickets to maximize these passes.
If neither of these remedies solve your issue, then I recommend you call the Tickets department of
Guest Services or you can access their toll-free number at 866-285-1422. A Cast Member in that department would be able to look into your account and pinpoint what the issue might be from there.
