Hi Amanda,
Thanks for visiting planDisney. I’m excited that you’ll be sharing the Disney magic with your parents! It’s wonderful how Disney parks can make even our parents feel like kids again.
I’m happy to say that you can definitely link your park tickets! You’ll have your tickets linked faster than you can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Each Disney eTicket will have a unique code you can use to
link to your MyDisney account, so be sure to ask your parents for their codes before you get started. Once you have their codes, open the Disneyland mobile app and select the three stacked lines near the bottom right of the screen. You should then see a box called “My Tickets & Passes.” Tap the “+” symbol in the upper right corner and use the “Link Tickets & Passes” button to add the ticket. You can enter each code manually. If your parents live close by, you can scan the barcode from their eTicket as it appears on the Disneyland app.
If you’ve included
Lightning Lane passes with your ticket, remember that the Lightning Lane Multi Pass includes unlimited downloads of your
Disney PhotoPass photos. You can find photographers across the parks, so there will be plenty of opportunities to capture the joy of your trip. Be sure to ask your photographer if they have any magic shots available!
I also noticed that your trip aligns with
Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration. Check out this
guide from the Disney Parks Blog to review every magical detail we know so far. You may find something in the lineup that really excites you. I’m looking forward to the new World of Color show, “
World of Color Happiness!” It will feature music from Turning Red, A Goofy Movie, Tangled, and Encanto. You can stay updated on what else is coming to Disneyland by following them
on Instagram.
I hope this advice was helpful, Amanda. If you have any other questions, need additional help, or would love more advice, please feel free to write back to me or my fellow panelists, and we’d be happy to assist.
Happy planning!
Melinda
