Hi Eric,
Welcome to planDisney!
I am delighted to see you planning a visit to the Walt Disney World® Resort for your family! While you can certainly request connecting or adjoining rooms if those are an option at your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, requests are not guaranteed. Once you make all of your resort hotel reservations, you can
call to speak to a cast member to note that request on your reservations.
Depending on the size of your group, you may want to consider a villa or suite. On our first visit with our girls my parents joined us in a two bedroom villa at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. We loved having the two bedrooms, the living room area, the full kitchen, and two bathrooms. Since the girls were 5-years old, we went back to the resort every day to rest in the afternoon.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort also has rooms that can sleep up to six and include two bathrooms. While these rooms do not have a full kitchen, they do have a bit more space than a standard room.
If you are still trying to select your resort hotel, also consider Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Riviera Resort, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Each of these has several room options that might work for your family. Of course, you can continue to book standard rooms if those options are better for your family.
Eric, I trust your planning will continue. For me, part of the joy in Disney is the planning. Continue to do your research and decide which resort hotel is best and then check the
Special Offers periodically to see if one is released that is applicable to the dates of your visit. Looking at your dates, that is my favorite time of year to visit. The
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are simply stunning!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
