Hey, howdy, hey, friend, and welcome to planDisney.
Guests who start their Disney vacation under the age of three years are guests of Mickey Mouse. They are allowed in theme parks without a ticket as long as they are accompanied by a guardian with a valid theme park ticket. It does not matter whether one stays at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel or other property. If the child turns three before special events like
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party require a
Special Event ticket and will need to be purchased. It is a separate event and not bundled with a standard theme park ticket. Fortunately, in December there are party nights on December, 13, 15, and 17, that still have availability. I would encourage you to try and attend before the child's birthday to save some for other things like churros and Dole Whips.
Friend, I hope this information helps you plan the most spectacular trip. Be sure to pick up a "Birthday Button" at any theme park Guest Services desk and have them wear it proudly during the whole trip to
celebrate their birthday. Please feel free to reach out to planDisney with any follow-up questions or more Disney vacation planning advice.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
