Hi Carolyn,
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. As my family's self-proclaimed queen of
advance dining reservations, I'm happy to help. Let's dig into all the delicious details!
Yes, you can
begin making reservations for Table Service Restaurants 60 days in advance of your visit. Guests with reservations at
Disney Resorts Collection hotels can book for their length of stay (up to 10 days) at the 60-day mark, while off-site guests can book day by day as the calendar hits 60 days out. Be sure your resort reservation is linked to your My Disney Experience app if you plan to make reservations for your length of stay.
While you can access in-park dining reservations (subject to availability) before purchasing your tickets, I highly recommend getting your tickets as soon as possible, as you may also need to secure
theme park reservations depending on your ticket type. A dining reservation alone does not guarantee entry into the parks.
I like to plan for a mix of in-park and resort dining options when we visit, so we can sample a bunch of different menus and atmospheres. We recently dined at
Jiko-The Cooking Place over at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and I haven't stopped thinking about the short rib entree since. We also really enjoy the Table Service options at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (don't skip the Truffles and Pasta enhancement if you visit
Cítricos). Inside the parks, we love Character Dining at
The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom Park (churro Mickey waffles on the breakfast buffet are not to be missed!), and always find something new to love at
Tiffins Restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
I'd be happy to share more recommendations in and out of the parks if you'd like some additional guidance, but you're in for a treat no matter where you decide to eat.
Carolyn, I hope this was helpful. Please come back with more questions anytime.
Magic and memories,
Amy
