    My trip is less than six months away and dates are still not available to book. When will Disneyland open up vacation dates in 2024? Getting nervous

    Hi there, Jules!

    Welcome back to planDisney and we're so happy that you stopped by to see us again! I'm thrilled to hear that you're planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort next year. It's never too early to begin formulating your plans even though they won't allow us to make reservations yet.

    I can understand how it can create anxiety to be unable to book your vacation at this point. I'm afraid that we don't have any inside information, but rest assured that Disney will give you plenty of time to book and plan your trip. Typically, Disney releases reservations for the next calendar year in the latter half of August. Since reservations are released 120 days in advance and this deadline is quickly approaching for 2024, I would expect Disney to make an announcement about next year's reservations at any point now. Be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates so you can make your reservations when they are eventually released!

    Will you be booking a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package? I love staying at any of the official Disneyland Resort Hotels. The transformation of the Pixar Pier Hotel will hopefully be mostly complete by that point and you'll have the Disneyland Hotel and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa to pick from as well. My favorite will always be the Disneyland Hotel because I'm such a fan of Disneyland Park's history and I love how that property pays homage to the Park's past.
