    Hi I have a trip in July 24 to wilderness lodge for my family for 7 nights I have set up my Disney app my questions are if I purchase 3 magic bands do they go straight to the hotel for me to pick up on arrival how do I link the bands prior to arrival

    Hello Helen!

    Welcome to planDisney! Disney's Wilderness Lodge is such a gorgeous Resort and you will love exploring the detailed lobby and carvings inside. 

    Now, Helen, Disney bands, or MagicBands as they are called in the United States are not able to be purchased in advance by International Guests. Not sure why Helen but it just is. I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this as I love using a band when in the Parks. However, it does not mean you are not able to get a band. I encourage you to visit the many merchandise locations in the Parks and Resorts to purchase your very own band. After you make your purchase, you can link your band to your My Disney Experience Account by looking at the ID number on the back of each band. Be very careful when assigning the band to a guest as once assigned it is permanent. You can assign multiple bands to one person and switch between them during your journey through the Parks. I sometimes coordinate my bands with my outfit! 

    Make sure to take a journey to the Bayou on the brand-new Tiana's Bayou Adventure. It will be opening on June 28, 2024, and the animatronics look amazing. The new original music, voiced by Anika Noni Rose- the original Tiana, is what I am most excited to experience. Guests can join in on the fun via Virtual Queue or by booking a Lightning Lane on Disney Genie+. I'm glad that are already ready by already having downloaded the My Disney Experience Mobile App.
