Welcome back to planDisney, Lizzie! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. You and I have a lot in common because you're really getting the jump on planning your 2025 vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! I'm also a planner, and I love to have all the details decided well in advance, so let's chat about what your options are for car seats when you're at The Most Magical Place On Earth.
Lizzie, you're right, you will not need a car seat for your children when you're using the
complimentary resort transportation. You can safely ride a bus, boat, monorail, or
Disney Skyliner without needing a safety seat, so you don't need to worry about that. If you need to use a rideshare service to get somewhere else at Walt Disney World Resort, like a dining reservation at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, I recommend using
Minnie Van service. Each Minnie Van comes equipped with two car seats that are included in the price of your ride! You won't need to pay extra to arrange safe seating for your children. Plus, it's really fun to arrive in style at your destination in Minnie Mouse's personal transportation.
Since Minnie Van service only operates at Walt Disney World Resort and does not travel off-property, you have a few other options to choose from depending on where you're planning to go. If you're planning to rent a car, your rental service will offer you the option to rent car seats, or you can arrange for a rideshare service that has car seats installed. Your Resort Hotel will not be able to provide you with car seats or arrange them for you, but you can rest easy and continue your planning knowing that you have plenty of choices when it comes to safe transportation.
Have a magical day, Lizzie!
