Hi there. We are travelling to Disney Florida in February 2024. I am going to buy the 14 day pass but I’m not sure of the first day we will actually be in Disney. Is it ok to book the pass to start on 6/2/24 even if our first day may not be until 10/2/23?

Hi Laura! A warm welcome from us all here at planDisney. The 14-day Magic Ticket is (in my humble opinion) the best value way to visit Walt Disney World. Great choice!

As the 14-Day Magic Ticket is date-based, you're quite right that you will need to select a start date when purchasing. There is no issue with booking your ticket for slightly earlier than you may potentially use it, with one important caveat. You only have 18 days to use your 14 days of Park access from that start date. In this instance, if your ticket starts on 6 February 2024, you would have up to (and including) 24 February 2024 in which to use it. In other words, yes, you can book an earlier start date and still visit each day of a fortnight visit to Orlando, starting 10 February 2024. You may also have read that as this Magic Ticket is date-based, Park Pass reservations are no longer required for the time of your proposed visit.

Memory Maker is included in adult Magic Tickets, so all your Disney PhotoPass pictures and other digital content from your adventure are linked to your Disney account. I love this perk because the whole family gets to be in the photo in front of iconic backdrops! Look out for the professional photographer Cast Members peppered around the Parks.

All my best wishes for a magical visit to Walt Disney World, Laura. If you have any other questions, we always love to help at planDisney.
