Hi Maria! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! Your Walt Disney World vacation is only days away! I hope you are getting excited about all the fun experiences that await!
I'm sorry to hear that one member of your group will be unable to make it for your trip. While
park tickets are nonrefundable, the value you paid for them can always be used toward a future ticket purchase. While you will not be able to directly increase the length of the other existing tickets using the two-day park ticket, there may be some additional options. I suggest
calling the Existing Tickets line and speaking to a Cast Member for assistance. They can take a look at the ticket packages purchased and see if there is anything they can do to help you with your upcoming stay. At the very least, the Guest who is unable to make it this time can put their ticket value toward a future trip.
Maria, you're visiting during one of the best times of the year! The parks and resorts are mostly decorated in their festive décor and there are holiday displays all around. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is home to a life-sized Gingerbread House that sells tasty treats to take with you. It's absolutely magical to see in person and worth the trip there if you have time. The Magic Kingdom is hosting
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this year while Disney's Hollywood Studios debuted a new event with
Disney Jollywood Nights. These are both special ticketed events that are held on select nights throughout the season. Regardless if you are planning to attend either of them, you'll still get plenty of holiday cheer inside each of the parks.
I hope you have a magical vacation, Maria!
