Hiya Ellie! Welcome to planDisney!
I hope you are enjoying your time planning for a magical
Walt Disney World holiday. Before you know it, you'll be heading down Main Street, U.S.A. with a Mickey pretzel in hand taking in all the sights and sounds of the Magic Kingdom.
Adding the
Disney Dining Plan to your stay is a fantastic idea. It allows you to account for the cost of your meals ahead of time, this way you can focus on enjoying all the fun aspects of your trip.
Ellie, you are correct!
Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar is a participating dining location in the Disney Dining Plan. While
Advanced Dining Reservations are not accepted at this location, you can dine here and use your Dining Plan credits. While the menu is centered around light bites, this location is considered a Table-Service Meal. You'll get to choose a food item from the main menu and a nonalcoholic beverage (or alcoholic beverage, for Guests 21 and older). You will need to check with your server once you are seated to find out which drinks will be included with the Dining Plan. If you're only planning on stopping in for a quick bite, it might make sense to save your dining credit for a bigger meal later on. I've done this on a few occasions when I was trying to maximize the value of each of the meals while using the Disney Dining Plan.
The theming of this dining location is one of the best at Walt Disney World. While fans of Indiana Jones will certainly appreciate it, all Guests visiting will be immersed in the storyline upon entering. If you haven't been, it's definitely worth stopping by.
Ellie, I hope this information helps you plan for your stay! If you have any more Disney Vacation planning questions,
please stop back to see us again.
Have a magical day!
