I am travelling to Disney in April and we are a party of 10. What is the easiest way for me to make table reservations for restaurants to ensure we can get a 10 seater table?

    Hiya Lauren!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with such a great question. You've come to the right place because I just returned from a Walt Disney World vacation with my childhood best friend and his family—we had a party of 11! So, I know firsthand how important it is to plan ahead for dining. The good news? With so many incredible dining options throughout the resort, you'll find the perfect spot for your group to enjoy a delicious meal together!

When booking reservations for a large party, the trick is to book as soon as you are eligible. For Guests staying in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, dining reservations open 60 days before check-in, and you can book your entire trip (up to 10 days) starting on that 60-day mark (non-Disney Resort Guests can book at the 60-day mark, too, but not for their entire stay.) This will give you the best selection of restaurants that can accommodate your party of ten for those hard-to-get reservations! If you aren't seeing exactly what you're looking for, you should contact the Cast Members at (407) 939-3463 to see if they can book separate reservations in smaller groups—perhaps two reservations for five guests each or even three tables of four, four, and two—rather than one large table of ten. Once you arrive at the restaurant, let the Cast Members know you're dining together, and while they can't guarantee seating at the same table, they will do their best to accommodate your group as close together as possible.

From my own experience, some of the best places for large parties include 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Cape May Café at Disney's Beach Club Resort, 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. While plenty of restaurants can accommodate groups of ten, these are the ones where I've had the most luck securing one large table, and they each offer fantastic dining experiences the whole family will love!

I hope this helps answer your question and gets you on the right track to planning the ultimate Disney vacation. Let me know if you have any other questions—I'm happy to help!

    See ya real soon,
