Hello! I am will be there 2/14 to celebrate my daughter’s 6th birthday! She is requesting to have her makeup done and to meet with the princesses. How do we schedule this?

Hi there, Uneek, and welcome to planDisney! I am thrilled that you're here with this wonderful question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! As a fellow mom of a little Princess, I understand how the magic comes to life through the eyes of your little one - what a joy to celebrate your daughter's sixth birthday at the Most Magical Place on Earth!

Uneek, you'll be happy to know that you have plenty of options when it comes to meeting Princesses, whether you choose Character Dining or visiting Princesses during your time in the Disney Theme Parks. If your daughter is interested in visiting Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to be transformed into a Princess, you're welcome to make a reservation at this time. Let's chat about all things Princesses!

There are currently four dining experiences that include Princesses:

    • Cinderella's Royal Table at Magic Kingdom - Located within Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park, you'll visit with Disney Princesses as you dine in this storybook setting.
    • Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White at Disney's Wilderness Lodge - A lovely boat ride from Magic Kingdom, this restaurant offers delicious food and an opportunity to meet Snow White, The Queen, and a few of the Dwarfs!
    • 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa - Just a short walk or Monorail ride from Magic Kingdom Park, here you'll meet some of Disney's beloved wish-makers like Tiana, Mirabel, Cinderella, and Aladdin.
    • Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at EPCOT - Located within the Norway pavilion, you'll meet some of your favorite Princesses while enjoying a royal feast!
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom Park is the place where your daughter, with the help of a Fairy Godmother's Apprentice, will be delighted and pampered as she makes a royal transformation. A reservation here is best made as far in advance as possible, but it's worth checking on if you're interested! If you find that there are no reservations available at this time, keep checking back! Guests often change their plans at the last minute, leaving unexpected openings. Even if you decide that a visit to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique isn't the perfect solution, your daughter is welcome to wear her favorite princess dress to the parks, where she will be in good company!

Make sure to stop by Sir Mickey's shop at Magic Kingdom, where a Cast Member will be delighted to sprinkle some pixie dust over you as you make your wish! It's a quick, complimentary experience that's fun for the whole family. I recently did this for the first time and was surprised at how sweet and meaningful it was!

You should definitely plan to meet Princesses during your visit. They're typically available throughout the day at various locations in each park. An easy way to find nearby Characters is by using the Map feature of the My Disney Experience App. It will show you their location and availability that day - so easy!

Lastly, stop by the Front Desk of your Disney hotel or Guest Relations to pick up complimentary buttons that your family can wear to let everyone know you're celebrating. Cast Members will love wishing your daughter a happy birthday throughout your visit!

Uneek, I hope this is helpful to you as you count down to your magical vacation and your daughter's birthday celebration! Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have!

    See you real soon!
