Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is my absolute favorite resort on Disney property! My husband and I got married at Walt Disney World in 2021 and stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge during our honeymoon and absolutely fell in love with the resort! Magic Kingdom Park - Transportation: Disney Bus
- Approximate travel time: 25-30 minutes
- Quick tip: Buses run directly from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Magic Kingdom. Buses typically start 45 minutes before park opening and run until an hour after the park closes. This is the only option available from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Magic Kingdom.
EPCOT - Transportation: Disney Bus
- Approximate travel time: 20-25 minutes
- Quick tip - Buses provide direct transportation to EPCOT. Like the Magic Kingdom buses, they start 45 minutes before park opening and continue until an hour after the park closes.
Disney's Hollywood Studios - Transportation: Disney Bus
- Approximate travel time: 15-20 minutes
- Quick tip - Direct bus service is available from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Hollywood Studios. The buses operate on the same schedule as the other parks.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
- Transportation: Disney Bus
- Approximate travel time: 5-10 minutes
- Quick tip - Animal Kingdom Lodge is the closest resort to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, so the bus ride is very short. Buses run frequently, especially in the morning when the park opens.
Buses generally run every 20 minutes. However, I find that during peak times (early morning and late evening), they might run more frequently. Unlike some other resorts, Animal Kingdom Lodge does not have access to the Skyliner, Monorail, or boat transportation. Buses are the primary mode of transportation for all destinations.
These travel times are estimates and can vary depending on traffic, weather, and the time of day. Allowing some extra time in your schedule is always a good idea, especially if you have dining reservations or specific plans in the parks.
