Hi Kim!
Welcome to planDisney.
Thank you for sending us this question, as many guests have been asking the same thing since Disney's Magical Express was discontinued.
I have enjoyed using Mears Connect as a replacement bus service taking me from Orlando International Airport to Walt Disney World Resort. Please visit their website for details on pricing, and how to book. This is probably the most affordable transport from both terminals at Orlando International Airport to all the Disney Resort hotels. They operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and also offer an Express Service (which is direct to your hotel, but it may be shared with other guests). If you don't want to book in advance, walk-ons are also welcome.
If you book this Mears Connect service you will be sent an email/text notification 23 hours in advance of your reservation - keep this boarding pass safe - you will need to show it when you arrive for your ride. I thoroughly recommend Mears Connect and will always book them for whenever I don't rent a car at the airport. They are comfortable, clean, and efficient.
Mears is reasonably fast, but you do have to wait a little while for the bus to fill up sometimes, and I know I always want to get to my hotel as soon as possible to begin my Disney holiday! For this reason, you might prefer a more speedy transfer to your Disney Resort hotel by using a Lyft ride. I have used Lyft myself and enjoyed the efficient service. I downloaded the Lyft app which gives you a selection of available cars (with prices and varying pickup times). You make payment on the app before your ride, so it's really straightforward.
You can also order a
Disney Minnie Van via the Lyft app if you fancy arriving for your vacation in style! You'll see these distinctive vehicles with their red and black livery, driving around Walt Disney World, and they are a lovely way to upgrade your ride.
Once you arrive at Walt Disney World you can enjoy complimentary
transport to take you all around the Resort. Depending on your route, you can use buses, boats, monorail and the Disney Skyliner to the theme parks and water parks, Disney Springs and every Disney Resort hotel.
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. You can also
send me a direct question if you wish. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation, and keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official news about events that may be happening during your stay.
