    Transportation to airport

Welcome to planDisney, Amy. For me, the saddest part of planning a Disneyland Resort vacation is figuring out how to get back to the airport. Only because this means we've come to the end of the magical visit. That said, let's take off and talk about how to get back to the airport.

After spending some time making core memories, there are several different options for getting back to the airport. Depending on which airport you are flying out of, there's public transportation that you can take, or you could even schedule a private shuttle. For me, I usually find that using a rideshare is the easiest and most convenient. I can schedule my ride to arrive at the airport exactly when I want to and they can pick up from a Good Neighbor hotel, a Disneyland Resort hotel or directly from the theme parks and Downtown Disney District.

Because it can be challenging leaving the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy behind, I always recommend bringing back something to help you ease back into real life. For me, this is usually a treat from the parks, a souvenir snack if you will. Opening up my email at work is so much easier when I have that churro toffee, Raspberry Rose Mickey Macaron or Nuttles to let me slip right back into the magic, even for a second.

Amy, I hope this has been helpful as you get ready for your magical escape. Come back to see us with any other questions that you might have. Until then, here's wishing you a most magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
