Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is a great option for guests with limited mobility, as it’s the closest hotel to the entrance of the parks. In fact, when you leave the hotel from the north entrance and turn right, it’s a mere .2 miles to the Esplanade, which is where you enter both parks. Also, Grand Californian has an entrance to
Disney California Adventure that bypasses the front of the park and releases you near Grizzly River Run. This shortcut will save you a lot of time and steps. My concern is that your visit is coming up soon, and reservations fill up. I’d check to make sure there are still
rooms available.
Disneyland Hotel and
Pixar Place are a little further, but still close in the grand scheme of things, so be sure to consider them if there are no rooms at the Grand Californian.
Have you considered renting an Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) for your time at the Disneyland Resort? ECV rentals are $60 per day, though prices are subject to change and are rented out on a first-come, first-served basis. I think this means rope-dropping in the morning to ensure an ECV is available for you, and closing the parks down at the end of the night to get your money’s worth. This is going to be a blast! When you face the front gate of Disneyland, the rental window is on the far right side of the turnstiles. You can also rent an ECV through
Scooterbug, Disney’s featured provider. The benefit of reserving through the featured provider is that you can rent an ECV for the length of your stay, and they’ll even deliver to your resort for you. This means you don’t have to go through the rental process each day of your stay. I'd suggest visiting the Disneyland.com page on

Amanda, check out the
Services for Guests with Mobility Needs page on the Disneyland website. There is a lot of great information about the various services available to guests. One service that may be useful is the Location Return Time. Since some of the queues in Disneyland may be more difficult to navigate on a scooter, the cast member can issue you a return time comparable to the current wait time. It’s very convenient!
