Hiya Chelsea! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm excited about your upcoming trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort! With less than 30 days until your arrival, I'm sure planning for your stay is well underway. I hope you were able to secure some of your top dining reservations when they became available. If you haven't made any yet, I suggest doing so since Advanced Dining Reservations are highly recommended for many table-service dining locations.
I have great news for you, Chelsea! Your vacation package will not automatically cancel if you fail to make your final payment at the 30-day mark. You should receive an email reminder the day after if it is not paid requesting that a payment be made as soon as possible. You'll receive an additional email 5 days later with another reminder for payment. After that, you will most likely receive a call from the Walt Disney World Resort.
If you still need a few more days to make your payment, I suggest
calling the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line yourself and communicating directly with a Cast Member. They will be able to make a note on your account and ensure that your reservation is not canceled and payment is expected shortly.
If for some reason you do need to cancel your upcoming stay, you can do so by logging into your
My Disney Experience account or by calling the Walt Disney World Resort. If canceled at least 30 days before your arrival, you'll receive a full refund of any monies paid. If canceled 2-29 days before your arrival, you'll receive a full refund minus a $200 cancellation fee (price is subject to change at any time). If canceled a day before, your reservation will be non-refundable at that point.
Chelsea, I hope this information helps you finalize your upcoming stay!
