Hi Ana! Welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with this great question! With the different types of ticket packages and
special offers currently available, it's best to figure out which one will be best for you before purchasing.
Ana, you can certainly purchase
single-day theme park tickets. When you head to the Walt Disney World website, select "Theme Park Tickets" from the "Parks & Tickets" drop-down menu. From here, select "Standard Theme Park Ticket" and continue to the next page. Select "1" for the number of days and the date you plan to visit. When purchasing a single day, you will need to select which park you plan to visit, since the price per ticket will vary depending on the park.
If you're planning to
bundle together your park tickets with your Disney Resorts hotel reservation, this does require you to purchase a minimum of 2-day tickets. Single-day tickets are not permitted when purchasing a vacation package. If you only plan to visit the parks on one day, your best bet will be to purchase them separately. The only difference is your park ticket will be nonrefundable when purchasing them on their own. When bundled together with your resort stay, there is a cancellation window to recoup the amount you spent in case you need to cancel your visit.
Regardless of how you go about booking your stay, you will be able to link all of your reservations and tickets to your
My Disney Experience account. This way, you'll have all of your accommodations accounted for together if you decide to purchase them separately.
Ana, I hope you have a magical trip to the Walt Disney World Resort next month!
See ya real soon!
Greg
