Welcome Back, Elisabeth!
It's wonderful to connect with our Disney pals here at planDisney. We are thrilled that you came back to visit.
I love that you are about to set sail with friends who are just now hearing the call of "The line where the sky meets the sea." We recently sailed with some first-time Disney Cruise Line Guests and one of my favorite moments was watching their faces light up as we
introduced them to the spectacular Disney Wish. When they stepped into the enchanting
Grand Hall for the first time, I could feel their sense of wonder. It was amazing. Then we ate alllll of the things at
Marceline Market, and they were caught...hook, line, and sinker.
We also connected our reservations through the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. I am happy to tell you that while that offered us the opportunity to dine together in the Main Dining Restaurants with Disney's unique
Rotational Dining model, and made planning our
Port Adventures together a cinch, that is where the sharing ended. Neither of us had access to the payment information for the Guests in the other stateroom. You should also not have access to future or previous Disney Cruise information.
When booking Port Adventures or Onboard Fun, linked reservations will be able to plan for all Guests in the group. If you would prefer to have complete and exclusive control over your plans, I would consider not connecting your reservations. Instead, you can visit Guest Relations or the Head Server at your first restaurant to request a table large enough for the Guests in both staterooms to be seated together. Just know that it will not be guaranteed with this approach.
I hope that helps you feel more comfortable as you move forward with your plans, Elisabeth! Please come back and see us with any other questions.
Adventure is out there,
Sally
