Hey there! Hi there, World Traveler! Brad, your question tells me you share my approach to days at
Walt Disney World Resort: arrive as early as possible. I mean, why wait to start the magic?
EPCOT opens for
early theme park entry at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 2. The parking lot typically opens an hour before the park's opening, so you should expect that they will begin welcoming Guests at the parking lot gate around 7:30 a.m.
If you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection or other participating hotel, you will be able to scan into the park at 8:30 a.m. Attractions that are open for these early hours include Frozen Ever After, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Mission: SPACE, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, Soarin’ Around the World, Spaceship Earth and The Seas with Nemo & Friends.
While most people "Rope Drop" to
jump through time and space with fellow EPCOTians or
chase rats in the kitchen, these early hours are a fantastic time to hit multiple attractions with shorter wait times. I like to head to Soarin' and still have time to enjoy Spaceship Earth and Mission: SPACE before the crowds arrive. I watch the
My Disney Experience app for good times for Guardians of the Galaxy, and many times, I hop in line right before EPCOT closes to end my day on this high note.
Brad, I hope your day of Celebration, Discovery, Nature and the World is full of adventure and fun. If you have any other questions, please come back by
planDisney. We're happy to help!
Magic Awaits!
