Thanks Melissa, I passed on the information to our son. He founded it very helpful. We are planning to stay at Polynesian during the run week. What is the best way to get to the finish line to watch him? Minnie Lyft or monorail? No car. Thanks Wayne

Hi, Wayne. So glad you found my last answer helpful and shared it with your son!

I would suggest the monorail for transportation during the race. There are often road closures while runDisney races are in progress which can make it hard to get around (even in a Minnie Van). To get to EPCOT via the monorail from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, you will need to take the Resort Monorail line from the hotel to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and then transfer to the EPCOT Monorail. It is fairly easy. However, if you find yourself a little lost at the TTC, ask a Cast Member. They are happy to help you get where you need to go! Once you arrive at EPCOT, the finish line is usually outside the theme park. You'll want to check runDisney.com for important runner and spectator information as the event gets closer! And for more information on Walt Disney World Monorail Transportation, visit this page of the WDW website.

Following the race and once the roads around EPCOT have opened to other Guests for the day, a Minnie Van might be a nice way to get back to the Polynesian... especially if you've got your son with you! With tired legs, he may not want to brave the monorail. You can access the Minnie Van service through your phone's Lyft app. I used a Minnie Van on a recent Walt Disney World trip and loved how it took me from the park to my hotel door with ease.

I hope this information helps, Wayne. If you've got more questions, keep them coming! I'm always happy to help!

    See you real soon,
    Melissa
