Hello Maureen! It’s my pleasure to welcome you to planDisney! You are asking a fantastic vacation planning question!
As our sons grew over the years, so did their appetites! Feeding three teenage boys on vacation became its own budget! Having groceries delivered to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel is a great way to save some money while on vacation! We started doing grocery delivery a few years ago and have continued to do so on every vacation since! My wife and I also appreciate that we can have some “spirits” delivered to enjoy together without always having to go to the hotel bar or restaurant.
The hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection do accept grocery deliveries from a variety of providers. It is best to inform
Bell Services that you are expecting a delivery. Share the approximate time of the delivery as well. If you are not available to accept the delivery, Bell Services will hold your deliveries for you. This includes refrigerating any items that need to stay cold. Additionally, you can request that Bell Services deliver the groceries directly to your room. Any time we have groceries held or delivered we tip Bell Services for the convenience they were able to provide.
Maureen, here is PRO TIP for you! If you are having any items delivered that might require you to be of a certain age (i.e. “spirits” or other adult beverages) the delivery provider might require you to be present to accept and sign for the delivery. Check with your grocery provider or Bell Services at
Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort if this applies to your delivery.
Happy Planning!
Jonathan
