Hi Ashley,
The transportation options at Disney World are one of the things that keep me coming back year after year. I love arriving and knowing that I will not have to drive myself anywhere for the entirety of our trip!
Taking the bus to Disney Springs from Disney's Art of Animation Resort is super convenient.
Bus transportation to and from Disney Springs is available during operating hours and ends 1 hour after closing time. Be sure to check out the
calendar before your visit so you know what the official operating hours are and can prepare ahead of time to make it back to the bus before transportation ends for the evening!
If you are looking for recommendations about what to check out while at Disney Springs, you have come to the right person. I love to shop, eat, and play, so Disney Springs is like the adult playground of my dreams. There are some fabulous restaurants for every style of dining. If you are looking for an adventurous but elegant dinner, make sure to reserve a meal at
Morimoto Asia. We have been multiple times, and this restaurant is always a winner. When I want a meal on the go, I always head over to the
Polite Pig for some delicious barbeque and a great drink selection. It is also super close to the bus stop, so it is often my first or last stop when visiting Disney Springs. Top either of those options off with a decadent dessert from
Amorette's Patisserie and you will have the perfect evening.
If you are in the mood to shop for some unique items, there are a variety of places to get your fix. The Levi's Store here is unique because they have a custom denim shop where you can design your embellishments for jeans, jackets, or whatever else they currently have in stock. I also never miss a chance to stop by World of Disney for some souvenir shopping so I can take it straight back to my Resort hotel instead of carting it through the theme parks.
Happy Planning,
Jenna
