    2) how tight is a verandah room with a pack and play? 3) how do the kids not loose thier Disneybands+?

    Ahoy there, Danielle!

Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your great questions! Sounds like you and your little crew are ready for adventure on your Disney Cruise Line vacation, so let's get you on your way.

Your Verandah stateroom size will vary depending on the exact category you booked. The Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah has more square footage than the Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah. Deluxe Family staterooms can accommodate up to five Guests, including the child using the Pack 'n Play. Deluxe staterooms accommodate three to four Guests, including the child using the Pack 'n Play.

Now, both staterooms can accommodate a portable crib with a few considerations. One, you will have more room if no one uses the sofa bed (in either stateroom) or if no one uses the murphy bed (in the family stateroom). Even so, you will have room for the crib in either category when these spaces are used by other Guests.  Though it will be a little snug, you can still maneuver in the room. You will also be glad to know that your Stateroom Host will set up the Pack 'n Play for you each evening and take it down for you in the morning. If your child needs it to take a nap during the day, be sure to let your host know. Did you know you can request a complimentary Pack 'n Play for your cruise? These are available on a first-come, first-served basis so make your request today.

Since we know where your young sailors will be stowing away on board, let's talk about DisneyBand+! Once again, the answer depends on a couple of things. If you are using your own DisneyBand+, you can find safety locks/protectors online that help to secure the bands on your wrist. If your child is using an Oceaneer Band provided through the Disney Oceaneer Club or Disney Oceaneer Lab, these bands are secured on the child's wrist by a Crew Member and can be removed by a Crew Member. It is unlikely that the band will come off without assistance from a Crew Member. Guests should return the band to Youth Activities on the final evening of the cruise or incur a $25 fee on their stateroom folio. If you have questions about the Oceaneer Band, a Crew Member will be happy to provide you with more information.

Danielle, you will be sailing away before you know it! Please stop by planDisney if you have other questions while you count down the days until your vacation.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
