Hi there, Armand,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question today! I'm happy to assist.
It sounds like you have a magical trip on the horizon, but I understand that plans sometimes fall through despite our best efforts. Though
theme park tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, you should be able to
apply the value of wholly unused, expired tickets to another visit as long as the new tickets are of greater or equal value.
If you already have new dates in mind, you change the date on your unused tickets by visiting the
"My Plans" section of your My Disney Experience account. You can also
reach out to a Cast Member by phone for assistance in modifying your dates.
Should you decide to keep your original plans you'll want to make time to visit the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays which begins November 24th. There is so much festive food and entertainment to enjoy you won't want to miss it! I've been checking on flights and looking into resort availability for my own year-end visit ever since the list of celebrity narrators for the
Candlelight Processional was announced. I'd also recommend visiting the resorts to see all the beautiful holiday decor. I was so impressed by the artistry and scale of the gingerbread displays at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and
Disney's Beach Club Resort last year, I just can't wait to see what's in store this season!
Armand, please don't worry if you need to shift your travel dates. There's never a bad time of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort! Magic awaits each day and new experiences are always on the horizon. It's what keeps my family coming back time and time again. I'm sure you'll find the perfect time to visit.
If we can offer any additional planning assistance please don't hesitate to let us know. We're always glad to help guests maximize their magical vacations!
Magic and memories,
Amy
