Happy haunts are materializing, Rebecca, so let's talk about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit! You're going to love seeing the theme parks
decked out in their autumn best, even if you don't attend
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Let's hop in our Haunted Mansion Doom Buggy to talk about ticket availability for the event.
I'm dreadfully disappointed to tell you that all after-hours Halloween party nights are sold out. This is a very popular offering, so tickets disappear like fog at sunrise. I chatted with a cackling Cast Member who said additional tickets are seldom released, but he suggested you call the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations line as soon as possible, just to be sure.
You can also look for signage at the Magic Kingdom Park entrance to see if tickets might be available at the ticket window that evening, but when I was at the parks a few days ago, the signs indicated a sold-out party. Even if that's the case and you can't purchase tickets, I have a few ideas to make your visit a real
scream!
I saw so many
fiendishly festive fall decorations on my recent trip, especially at Magic Kingdom Park. Be sure to look for the carved pumpkins along Main Street, USA. Many of them indicate the nearby shops and restaurants. And this
Disney Parks Blog article lists seasonal treats that are also available during regular theme park hours. My friends recommend the Skull Meatloaf at
The Plaza Restaurant!
Rebecca, I'm hoping the crypt doors don't creak too loudly on your upcoming visit because I'd love to see you come out to socialize! Please stop by
planDisney anytime; we're
dying to help you plan your vacation.
Hurry baaa-aaack....Magic awaits,
Elaine
