My ticket says 1 day remaining. Can I use it for 5/24?

    Hi Gina! Welcome to planDisney!

I know how important it is to squeeze every last magical minute out of those theme park tickets. My powers aren't quite at the level of Madame Leota, and I am unable to take a look directly into your account to give you a definitive answer, but I sure can help point you in the right direction.

Typically speaking, if your theme park ticket says you have "1 day remaining", it is currently active and has not yet expired, which is a good thing! I would start by double-checking the expiration date, which is located on the purchase confirmation email you received from "Disneyland Reservations". If that date is beyond May 24th, then things are looking good!

If you have a 1-Day park ticket, the next step will be to check to see which tier that ticket falls into and which tier May 24th requires. Pricing for single-day tickets varies depending on things like time of year, etc., and this is reflected via tiers, with Tier 0 being the least expensive option but with the most blackout dates up to Tier 6. You can view your ticket's tier in the Disneyland app by heading to the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner and selecting "My Tickets & Passes". Right at the top of the next screen, scroll to your ticket, and under your name, it will say which tier your ticket falls into. While we are here, tap "Change Ticket" with the little pencil icon just underneath your ticket barcode. This is where you can make or change your theme park reservations, and where we can see which tier May 24th will require. Select your ticket and then scroll to "Reservation Dates" and tap "Change Ticket". You will now see a calendar for May, and if you go to May 24th, you will see a dollar amount. This is how much it would cost to change your ticket to the tier required for May 24th. If it's zero, you are good to go, tap that day and secure your theme park reservation! If it's more than zero, no worries! Just tap and pay the difference right in the app itself!

If you happen to have a multi-day ticket, then you do not need to worry about the tiers, you would just need to ensure that your ticket does not expire ahead of the 24th. Multi-day tickets must be used within 13 days of first-use. In other words, depending on when you scanned into the park that first day, it may expire ahead of May 24th.

Gina, I know that was a lot to take in! If you are still unsure about your ticket's validity for your desired park date, I would go ahead and call the friendly Cast Members in Guest Services. They will be able to take a look directly into your account and provide specific guidance.

Be sure to take a peek at the Entertainment Schedule before you head into the parks as all the fun and festivities for the 70th Anniversary will be in full swing for your visit! If you have any more questions or just want a fun tip or two for your visit, we are always here for you at planDisney!

    Magic awaits,
