I am thinking about staying at Pop Century and my daughter is staying at the Grand Floridian. What is the best transportation for me to use to meet them each day?

Hey-there, Hi-there, Ho-there, Lisa. You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney.

Lisa, you have a few options if you want to meet up with your fellow Mouseketeers at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Since Walt Disney World Resort bus transportation only goes from the resort to the theme park, you will want to hop on the first bus going to Magic Kingdom in the morning. From Magic Kingdom, you can take a boat, monorail, or the all-new walking path to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Both the boats and the monorail run on a constant loop, and you can expect them to arrive about every 20 minutes. If you choose to take the walking path, it is a beautiful three-quarter mile walk along Seven Seas Lagoon and will take you around 15 minutes.

Lisa, if you want to arrive at your family's resort before Walt Disney Would Resort transportation begins running, which is typically 30-minutes to an hour before the park opens, you can always call for a taxi or use a ride-share service such as Uber or Lyft.

Did you know that staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort affords you easy access to the Disney Skyliner? These whimsically-themed gondolas will whisk you up, up, and away to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. With the Disney Skyliner being so close, it may be easiest to meet your crew at the theme park entrance.

I hope that this gave you a bit of insight, Lisa. Please come back here to planDisney if we can help you figure out where to play, stay, or dine at Walt Disney World Resort.

    See you real soon!
