Hello there, Jessa!
Bright Suns! I'm glad you're planning some time to explore Batuu during your next Disneyland Park visit. It's a favorite area in our family, especially for my Padawans!
The Jedi Council (and the terms and conditions) don't allow Padawans under 13 years of age to have their own
MyDisney account, which is used to sign in on both the
Disneyland Mobile App and the
Play Disney Parks App. That means we always go bounty hunting in a "Clan of Two" when we visit the parks with our kids who are too young to have their own accounts. I loan my
datapad to my kids while we do missions together, or I'll follow them as they feel the Force through their MagicBand+ until we discover where a target is hiding and then give them my datapad to scan the door and complete their mission.
No matter what datapad you use, I find that operating on Batuu does tend to drain my power faster than normal. Make sure you bring a
portable phone charger so you don't run out of energy before your Padawan is done exploring!
There is only one way to finish a Disney day for Force-sensitive guests:
Fire of the Rising Moons is a whole new way to experience fireworks at Disneyland Park! With inspiring stories and soaring music, you will definitely be in awe of the beautiful spectacular in the skies.
I wish I had better news for you about your child's datapad, Jessa! But I hope you'll enjoy exploring Batuu with your Padawan together and find lots of success in your missions. May the Force be with you!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
