Hi there, My daughter will be 2 1/2 at the time of our trip. What do I need to bring for her in order for her to enter the park? I have purchased my tickets already for myself and husband. Thank you for you help

    Hiya Laura!

Welcome to planDisney! I have loved traveling with my children to Walt Disney World Resort since they were babies. What I loved most about it was that they were free!

I am glad that you are beginning to make memories with your little one in a few weeks! Don't worry about providing any documentation as Cast Members may just ask her age. Let them know she's two and that should be it. If you are worried that you won't be believed because your little one is a giant and could bench-press your husband then know that Cast Members usually follow the honor system. ID is usually not asked unless that person is 18 or older.

While your daughter is free to enter the Parks, they are not free to dine unless they eat off of your plate or if you order them their food. The best way to enjoy this without having to lose precious fries off of your plate is to consider dining at a buffet or all-you-care-to-enjoy restaurant. Let them experiment a little with new flavors or comforting favorites. My favorite right now is Tusker House Restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Delicious for both kids and adults!

I hope you have a magical time!
    Happy Planning!

Hey, it's Nimmy from New York! Just like my guy Jiminy Cricket I am your wisecracking and helpful guide to making the best decisions for your Disney vacation! My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
