Hi, Todd! It's great to see you back at planDisney!
First of all, let me congratulate you on becoming a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder! You're going to love all of the
extra magic that your annual pass unlocks for you. With all of the great
passholder deals, you just might decide to book a trip sooner than you originally planned. However, if you don't end up traveling to
Walt Disney World Resort until October, that's no problem at all.
Your annual pass won't be activated until you use it to enter a Walt Disney World theme park. When you arrive at one of the parks in October, just visit the ticket booth with your annual pass purchase confirmation number, the credit card it was purchased with, and your photo ID. The ticket booth Cast Member will give you your annual pass card. You'll need this card and your photo ID when you want to use your
Annual Passholder discounts. At that point, your annual pass will be activated and you'll be ready to visit the theme parks. When you check your
My Disney Experience account after using your annual pass for the first time, you'll see that the expiration date will have been updated to one year from the date of first use.
Since you're planning a trip in October, you should consider attending
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This event is frightfully fun for the whole family. I think Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade just might be my favorite Disney parade. Guests staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel can purchase their Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets early beginning April 27, 2023, and all other Guests may purchase tickets beginning May 2, 2023. It's sure to be a spooktacular event!
I hope that you'll be able to visit Walt Disney World Resort with your annual pass many times over the next year. If you have additional questions about any of those trips, feel free to visit us again at planDisney. See ya real soon!
Samantha
