We will be taking our 9th and 10th Disney cruises, in September. One question we've always had is, can we link our Navigator apps so that whichever event/activity one of us "hearts", also shows on the other's app as "hearted"?

    Hiya, Tommy!

Welcome back to planDisney. Oh boy! You are "Almost There!" After that tenth cruise, you'll have reached the prestigious Platinum Castaway Club level. Do I see a complimentary Palo dinner in your future when you book that eleventh cruise? That sounds delicious to me!

So, I am right there with you, Tommy. My family and I would love exactly that feature in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. That is, it would be wonderful if the favorites selected by one member of our party would also show up as favorites on the app of other members of our party who have connected with each other or who are in the same stateroom. Naturally, you can connect with other members of your party and even with other Guests on the same cruise who aren't already linked with your reservation. That allows you to send and receive messages with each other in the app, including exclusive Disney-themed emojis.

At this time, that complimentary messaging connection capability doesn't create linkages for sharing favorite activities and events. Although different members of our party occasionally have different preferred activities planned at any given moment. After all, between Disney's Oceaneer Club, the various teen clubs, adult-exclusive activities, and a large variety of other activities, there's so much to choose from that it's sometimes hard to pick just one thing that everyone will want to do at the same time.

Although there isn't currently a mechanism for sharing selections of favorite activities in the Navigator app, who knows what the future will bring? The developers seem to be constantly updating the app, including a new release almost every month on average for quite a while now. To submit questions or feedback to the development team, I recommend leaving a review on your device's application store. Or send the Disney Cruise Line an email with your message.

Enjoy your upcoming cruises, Tommy. And please visit us again here at planDisney with any more of your planning questions.

    See ya real soon, Tommy!
