Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for bringing this great question our way. It sounds like you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World during the spookiest season.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party will be offered at Magic Kingdom on select nights from August 7 to October 31, 2026. It's a spectacularly spooky way to celebrate Halloween. Guests can come in costume (even adults) and trick-or-treat at designated locations throughout the park. You'll find deliciously haunting snacks and beverages and see some of your favorite characters dressed in their cute Halloween costumes. This party also has the best entertainment offerings like the
Boo To You parade which features dastardly villains, ghastly ghouls and other iconic characters as they travel from Frontierland to Main Street U.S.A.
During your stay, the party will be offered on 4 different nights. If you’d like to attend, my suggestion would be to decide which day you’d want to experience the party and then build the rest of your park time around that. So for example, if you decided to attend the party on October 1, make that just your party day. During the day, plan to visit your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel pool, check out your resort’s activities for the day, or hang out at
Disney Springs and maybe pop into
Gideon’s Bakehouse for their Peanut Butter Cold Brew. Then, plan to head to Magic Kingdom as early as 4 p.m. when entry begins for party guests and enjoy! On your other park days, you can visit Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom.
Sergio, don’t forget that when Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is offered at Magic Kingdom, the park will close to day guests at 6 p.m. before the party starts. On these days, you will not get to experience any of Magic Kingdom’s nighttime entertainment so you will want to plan accordingly. If you purchase
Park Hopper tickets, you can always hop to another park at 6 p.m., though.
So your marching orders are as follows:
1. Decide which party you want to attend after checking out the calendar.
2. Decide how many park days you will want to have and whether you’re interested in Park Hopper tickets.
3. Plan your park days around your party tickets.
