Hi Michael,
Welcome back to planDisney! I am delighted to see that you are still planning a visit to the Walt Disney World® Resort. Since
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort are both beautiful resorts with views of Magic Kingdom, there is no wrong answer to your question. I will say that my family had a theme park view room at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and the view was spectacular. My family also adores this
Disney Resorts Collection hotel because it is within walking distance to Magic Kingdom.
We love both of these resort hotels. They both have fantastic dining options, beautiful grounds, and lovely rooms. We also have exciting news that at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa,
1900 Park Fare is scheduled to reopen. There are several other
dining options here - we have enjoyed Grand Floridan Cafe and Narcoosee's. At Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, we always make
advanced dining reservations at 'Ohana for dinner and Kona Café for breakfast.
Truly, both resort hotels are beautiful, relaxing, and have great amenities. I will say that being able to walk back to Magic Kingdom after watching the fireworks in the park is quite lovely. The path takes my family about 20 minutes to walk but it gives us some time to catch up with our girls after a long day. Also, when we get back to the resort, it's super easy to stop by Gasparilla Island Grill to pick up a snack before heading to the room.
Michael, I hope this helps! Be sure to keep checking the
Special Offers to see if there are any specials applicable to the dates of your visit!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
