    We're taking a Disney cruise and will need to do some online banking (bill payments) during the cruise, what wifi package would fill our specific need aboard the Fantasy. Do we have to buy the weekly package or can we buy the wifi for one specific day?

    Thank you for contacting planDisney. I wish responsibilities took a break while we are on vacation, but sometimes that just isn't possible!

    Guests can currently purchase internet packages for 24 hours or the full length of their Disney Cruise (subject to change). When I was selected to join planDisney last year, I bought the 24-hour package while sailing on the Disney Wish because I could not wait any longer to share my exciting news. It was very easy to use!

    Internet packages can be purchased on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app after boarding the ship. Open the Navigator app on your smartphone, and choose "Connect to Internet". A separate browser will open where Guests can view and purchase an internet plan. Offerings and prices are subject to change. At this time, internet package options include:

    • "Stay Connected" allows Guests to access select social media sites, such as Facebook and Instagram. Pricing starts at $16/day when you purchase it for the full voyage and $18/day when you purchase it for only 24 hours. Prices are subject to change at any time.
    • "Basic Surf" includes the "Stay Connected" package offerings plus access to the web, email, and voice calling. It begins at $24/day for the full voyage or $28/day when purchased for only 24 hours. Prices are subject to change at any time.
    • Premium Surf" includes the "Basic Surf" package offerings plus videos on YouTube, Snapchat, and TikTok, as well as video calling and music streaming (such as Pandora and Spotify). Video streaming is not available. Pricing begins at $34/day for the full voyage or $42/day for only 24 hours. Prices are subject to change at any time.
    I assume that "Basic Surf" will meet your needs to pay bills. You can always try it, and if you need additional internet services, you can typically upgrade to the "Premium Surf" option. Keep in mind that internet coverage can be limited and some websites may not load. I recommend seeing if you can pre-schedule your payments ahead of time to avoid worrying about it on vacation. If that isn't an option, then I hope the internet works seamlessly for you!
