Hi there, Kunal!
Thank you for reaching out to planDisney. It looks like you are sailing on the Disney Cruise Line in a couple of weeks. How exciting! My kids love Disney's Oceaneer Club and Disney's Oceaneer Lab, so I am happy to answer your question.
Kids between 3 to 10 years old who are fully toilet trained can be dropped off at
Disney's Oceaneer Club (and
Disney's Oceaneer Lab on some ships) during operating hours. These super fun youth clubs allow children to play, explore, and make new friends! Guests can usually pre-register their kids on the
Disney Cruise Line website under "Already Booked" and "My Reservations," or you can register them after boarding the ship. Children and their parents should check in together at the front desk of either youth club on Embarkation Day to complete the final paperwork and receive a Disney Cruise Line Youth Activities wristband for each child. It is also a good idea to visit the youth clubs on Embarkation Day during Open House hours, as parents can explore the youth clubs with their kids. Adults are not permitted to visit the youth clubs outside of Open Houses.
Keep in mind that food is not currently served in Disney's Oceaneer Club or Lab. I normally feed my kids breakfast and then drop them off for the morning. They get picked up for lunch and pool time in the afternoon. While they play in Disney's Oceaneer Club, my spouse and I relax in the adult-only pool area. Everyone is happy! As I'm sure you know, each child has different comfort levels with being dropped off at a youth club. Some kids could spend most of the day there, while others may need to be picked up sooner. The youth club counselors will reach out to you over the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app if your child is ready to leave.
Disney Cruise Line offers youth clubs for other ages, as well. Little ones between 6 months to 3 years old (or from 1 to 3 years old on Transatlantic, Hawaii, and Panama Canal itineraries) can play or nap in the adorable
"it's a small world" nursery! for an additional fee (subject to availability). Tweens can hang out in
Edge while older teens can meet new friends in
Vibe.
Kunal, have a wonderful voyage! Please reach out to planDisney again if you have other questions.
Happy sailing!
Jen
