Hey there, Kevin! Welcome to planDisney! As someone whose camera roll is packed with Disneyland Resort photos, I am happy to help with this one!
I am going to jump right in! According to the
Disneyland Resort Rules, photography, video, or recording of any kind for unapproved commercial purposes is not allowed. That means as long as your photos are for personal use, you are welcome to share them on whatever platforms you like.
It is important to keep in mind where the line is. Using your photos to share your own experiences, memories, or visit recaps is perfectly fine. Where it changes is if the content becomes commercial. That would include things like selling products that use your photos, paid sponsorships, or promoting a business.
So if you are posting your personal photos and talking about your own Disneyland day, you are good to go!
I recently read an article that shared that Disneyland Resort is one of the most Instagrammed locations in California, which says a lot about how many magical moments Guests love capturing and sharing.
Kevin, while you are snapping your own pictures, don’t forget to stop by the
Disney PhotoPass Photographers around the parks. They have a great eye for capturing those Disney moments you will want to remember.
From one photo lover to another, happy memory making!
